Onderzoekssteunpunt en Databank Intermediaire Structuren (ODIS)
ODIS (Onderzoekssteunpunt en Databank Intermediaire Structuren in Vlaanderen) offers a database consisting of both persons, organizations, other archives, publications, and election results that are related to civil society in Flanders. ODIS is a joint initiative of KADOC, ADVN, AMSAB-Instituut voor Sociale Geschiedenis, and Liberaal Archief.
Amsab-Instituut voor Sociale Geschiedenis
The Amsab-Institute for social history initially gathered archives and documentational materials of the Belgian socialist labour movement, small left-oriented parties, and of persons active in these organizations. Today they have broadened their scope towards issues of grassroots democracy, Third World, human rights, environmental movement, gender, lesbian/gay, migrants, etc.

European Social Survey
The European Social Survey (ESS) is an academically-driven social survey designed to chart and explain the interaction between Europe's changing institutions and the attitudes, beliefs and behaviour patterns of its diverse populations. Now in its second round, the survey covers over 20 nations and employs the most rigorous methodologies. It is funded via the European Commission's 5th Framework Programme, with supplementary funds from the European Science Foundation which also sponsored the development of the study over a number of years.
